The deluxe cypress wood duck nest box is built using one inch thick rough sawn cypress lumber. Cypress is well known for it's durability and ability to withstand the elements for many years. This cypress lumber was logged in eastern Arkansas and kiln dried for consistency and quality. I use corrosion resistant screws and waterproof glue for even more strength and durability. These boxes are quite a bit heavier and should last longer than the standard nest box.

Like the standard model, these boxes feature drain holes, swing-open side door, and built in ladder. The deluxe cypress wood duck box includes cedar bedding material, (3) 3 1/2" galvanized lag bolts for mounting, and an informative brochure.

A coat of clear, high quality, protective water sealer will prolong the life of the wood.  Water sealer can be applied to the exterior of  any duck box for an additional $15.
